Term Certificate, a very special award went to JM, for his work ethic and always trying his best.

We just heard that our Learning Zone is getting a major makeover!
We cleared the room today and we are so excited.
Lots of hard work, but the cavalry arrived (senior students and parents) and it will be worth it!

Some of us even preferred to get ready for the makeover, than have Happy Hour!

And no, HW, it won't be painted all pink!!!

Dazzling Dancing L.G

L.G had a dancing exam this week.  She has worked very hard all year practising a jazz dance routine.  For the exam she and a group of other dancers had to remember the routine without any help from their dance instructor.  The dance academy is very strict and her mum had to make sure she had her hair in a perfect double French braid!  We thought it looked lovely! L.G said that the exam was a bit hard but her teacher thought she did very well. She will find out her results in the next two weeks. Good luck L.G! We know you are very talented and are proud of you for doing your BEST!  

Soccer Star!

We have our very own soccer star in Rm 13! W.M recently received the Chris Boyd Trophy. He plays for the Rep team in the 8th grade and was nominated by his coach. This is what his coach had to say about him:
"I have been involved in coaching W.M for the last three years and I have found him to have an exemplary attitude towards the game, he gives it 100% on the field. I have never in my three years involvement with him seen him lose his temper or display any anger on the field, despite at times some provocation. W.M has been totally committed to his team and fully supportive of his team mates. He has shown true sportsmanship both on and off the field. He has a love of the sport that shows in the way he approaches and plays each game. W.M is a quiet soul but when he is on the field he is focused on what he needs to do and his part in helping his team to be the best they can be. From a coach’s perspective you only need to tell W.M what to do once and he takes this on board and puts it into practice on the field."

Well done W.M. We are proud of you!

On Friday our Dads and Grandads came to school to enjoy a bacon sandwich and coffe, before our special Father's Day assembly.
